From 2100 players in 2022 to nearly 10,000 participants in 2023, the Amateur Pickleball Association has become one of the largest tours focused on the amateur player from 2.5-5.0.\u00a0 The New York Amateur Open will take place at True Pickleball Club.\u00a0 This event is open to all players from 2.5-5.0 with events broken down by skill level first and then age division dependent on the total number of teams\/players registered within each skill level of play.\u00a0 All teams\/players will compete in a minimum of 5 games during each event with some divisions playing as many as 10-12 games based on the event format and number of teams in attendance.\u00a0 Sign up for this tournament now to save your spot!<\/p>\n
Registration Rates<\/strong> \u2013 Early Bird $75 for first event, $65 for second until October 21st<\/strong>.\u00a0 $10 increase on each event at that time.<\/p>\n Schedule<\/strong> \u2013 formatting will typically have Doubles (8am+) on Saturday, Mixed Doubles (8am+) on Sunday, Singles may be played on either day if made available. The schedule may be modified by the director prior to the start of the event if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n Format<\/strong> – there is a 5 game guarantee in place though nearly all players will compete in 6 or more; single game round-robin matches played to 11, win by 2, for doubles followed by brackets; singles matches will include rally scoring to 21, win by 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" – This event is open to all skill levels as we will set matches based on skill level, then age.
