Massachusetts Indoor Amateur Open @ Pickles

Tournament UPDATE (March 25th, 1:45PM) – this event is no SOLD OUT!  Please do NOT submit registration if you are not already listed as a partner with someone currently posted on the event draw list attached through the “View Schedule” link below.  We will begin sorting registrations for the main draw and will provide an update on availability within divisions by Friday of this week and open registrations to fill any gaps in divisions at that time.  Again, if you are currently listed on the draw through the View Schedule link below but have not completed registration and payment, please do so at this time.  Any registrations submitted that are not currently in place will receive a full CREDIT, not a refund, towards the next event if we are unable to get your team into a draw when making the schedule.

From 2100 players in 2022 to nearly 10,000 participants in 2023, the Amateur Pickleball Association has become one of the largest tours focused on the amateur player from 2.5-5.0.  The Massachusetts Indoor Amateur will take place at Pickles.  This event is open to all players from 2.5-5.0 with events broken down by skill level first and then age division dependent on the total number of teams/players registered within each skill level of play.  All teams/players will compete in a minimum of 5 games during each event with some divisions playing as many as 10-12 games based on the event format and number of teams in attendance.  Sign up for this tournament now to save your spot!

Registration Rates – Early Bird $75 for first event, $65 for second event available until March 18th.  $10 increase on each event at that time.

Schedule – formatting will typically have Doubles (8am-8pm) on Saturday, Mixed Doubles (8am-8pm) on Sunday.  The schedule may be modified by the director prior to the start of the event if deemed necessary.

Format – there is a 5 game guarantee in place; single game round-robin matches played to 11, win by 2, for doubles; consolation brackets/games will maintain this format while the Gold/Silver/Bronze medal bracket transitions to a single game match to 15, win by 2.
